Tea just under water is the most consumed drink in the world. Tea has been a main ingredient in Asia's diet for centuries. Black tea also carries polyphenols but undergoes a long processing process. Black teas are partially dried, crushed and fermented in their processing, which darkens the tea. Herbal teas are becoming the most drank tea due to the many flavors of herbal tea available. Herbal tea is not actually a tea because it does derive from the plant Camellia Sinensis but rather is a mixture of many different herbs and fruits. Many of the herbs used for herbal tea have been used for centuries throughout the Orient, and are now becoming popular in the Western World. Herbal teas have many health benefits when drank on a daily basis, being full of antioxidants. Chamomile herbal tea is great for calming nerves, Hibiscus flowered teas are great for weight reduction and peppermint herbal tea is noted for curing an upset stomach. Herbal teas mixed with marigold plant stimulate the liver and it has anti-inflammatory properties. Herbal teas also make a most delicious drink, with the fruit being dried and mixed with herbs or other fruits. Herbal teas are delicious both hot and cold and you receive the health benefits either way.

Herbal teas don't always have to be bought at the market. Herbal ingredients can be found or grown in your back yard for you pleasure. Herbal tea can be bought about also by mixing herbs and fruits to actual teas, black, green, oolong or white tea. Herbal teas have amazing anti-inflammatory action and can reduce the effects of arthritis. Cranberry, apple, rosehips, and hibiscus leaves.
